Got a bin of beautiful fabric leftovers you just don’t know what to do with? It’s time to give those scraps a brand-new vibe.
Ditch strict perfectionism and embrace the creative freedom of scrappy quilting! In this relaxing 4-week adult series, you’ll master three classic, scrap-busting quilt blocks: the graphic Spiderweb block, the strip-piecing magic of a Trip Around the World, and a speedy method for creating Half-Square Triangles.
Our final session is an open sew and design workshop where you’ll explore layout ideas and begin assembling your blocks in class, leaving with the skills and confidence to easily finish your quilt at home.
Feel free to arrive anytime between 5:30–6:00 PM. This is a flexible arrival window designed to give everyone time to settle in, get their sewing space set up, and connect with fellow quilters. If you arrive early, you’re welcome to continue working on blocks from the previous week or get a head start on preparing materials.
What’s Included
10 Hours of Studio Time: Four 2.5-hour evening sessions to focus entirely on your craft without home distractions.
Expert Guidance: Step-by-step, patient instruction through every layout, cutting, and piecing stage.
Full Tool Access: Full use of our premium studio design walls, oversized cutting mats, rulers, and irons.
- Fabric & Materials: For this project, you will need to bring your scraps! You can also choose studio scraps from our collection while in class.
- What to Bring & Machine Rentals: Please bring your own sewing machine in good working order, along with its power cord, foot pedal, and thread. If you don’t have one, you can request to rent a studio machine for a $10 fee per class. Machines are limited, so please reserve yours at registration.
- Welcome to the Slipper Studio! Leave your street shoes at the door. Bring your favorite slippers (or house shoes), get cozy, and join us for some low-pressure, meditative making.
